Control Panel (Scorpion)

The ADSS Scorpion Alarm Panel is an electronic stand–alone panel that interconnects and interfaces alarm and fire devices to various alarm output equipment. The Alarm devices and output equipment are listed below. The keypad interface allows for easy visualization of the alarm status; arming / disarming of the alarm system; and programming of the alarm panel. The Scorpion panel communicates to the Central Monitoring via its own telephone modem.

This light flashes when an alarm is triggered during hold-up or burglary.

 PIR Motion Detector

Passive Infrared Ray (PIR) detector detects movement of human. It discriminates between movement of small animals and humans to minimize false alarms.

 Magnetic Contact (Heavy Duty)

This switch indicate whether a door or a vault is open or closed.

 Magnetic Contact (Surface Type)

This switch indicate whether a door or a vault is open or closed.

 Vibration Contact

This switch is triggered when excessive vibrations are detected. These vibrations usually occur when there is a vault or wall break

 Footswitch

This switch is manually operated using a foot. It is usually triggered when there is a hold-up situation.

 Audio Glass Discriminator

The Audio Glass Driscriminator triggers an alarm when it detects brakage of glass.
